Our History
We're Working to Preserve Our
History
As we
made the move to our new building and began transferring
historic Township documents to their new home, we were reminded
anew how important it is to share and preserve the things that
tell the history of our Township and its residents. We are
fortunate to have a number of historical documents that date
back to the 1860's and we are currently considering the best way
to both protect and display them.
The following two documents are fine examples of these
treasures. Township Trustee Ron Levitsky, a middle-school
history teacher, has taken the next step in sharing this
information: he has developed lesson plans to accompany them,
ready for use in the classroom.
More
documents will be featured in the future. We welcome your
comments and ideas!
